Haemonetics develops software solutions such BloodTrack that make healthcare safer and provides the most comprehensive blood inventory and transfusion management system. BloodTrack provides the control, visibility, and traceability needed to safely and properly store, dispense, and transfuse blood products, making it easy for clinicians to obtain blood products at the point-of-care and verify that the right blood is transfused to the right patient at the bedside.

Responsibilities:

• Create Test Cases and Validation Plans, organize and execute tests on Haemonetics products during the SDLC
• Ensure that Haemonetics products are fully tested and ready by release date.
• Ensure that products are tested to compliance with SOPs and FDA standards (510k). 
• Maintain released products through testing and providing support whenever necessary.
• Assess and report risks as products go through development, limited and full release testing.
• Maintain test repository for test records and results.
• Organize of test equipment, equipment calibration, simulators, tools, bug documents, regression archives.

Software Quality Assurance Specialist at (now UST Global) (1 year).

QA Labs has been the largest independent software quality assurance and testing service provider in Canada, providing contract testing, test engineering and automation, and test planning services, Quality Assurance (QA) process consulting and training, and tool evaluations.

• Project: Encyclopedia Britannica-Online sites testing. Performed testing activities including: Test Planning, Functionality Testing, Regression and Ad-hoc testing
• Project: TRex One Enterprise - A network-based solution for independent and regional chain pharmacies with a central database of patient, prescriber, drug and payer information used in pharmaceutical firms. The application is developed by NDC Health Page Corporation in Java with Swing and Oracle. Role involved: Analysis of Customer requirements and Technical writing including: Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts Install and validate the product in Windows and Linux. Perform testing activities including: Functionality Testing, Regression, Exploratory and Ad-hoc testing. Log bugs and suggest enhancements.
• Project: Chancery's Student - Chancery Software Ltd., now known as School Systems Group of Pearson, provides school administration and curriculum management software in North America.  Performed testing activities including: Data validity, Functional Testing, GUI testing, regression, build verification, defects reporting/verification and performance testing. Technical writing: Use Cases and Test Cases.

Software Tester (2 years 5 months) at Ensemble Systems

Ensemble Systems is a consulting and software developing company utilizing Object Oriented technologies. Founded in 1995 around a core competency in Object Oriented(OO) technology, Ensemble's work with major corporations has built up substantial experience in object technology, cross-platform integration, requirements analysis, enterprise architecture, software development, and quality assurance. Currently it has partnerships with Adobe®, Microsoft®, Amazon®, and other established industry leaders.

• Role as Software Developer and QA Engineer in IBM Rational Rose XDE project (a free form model-driven development tool with UML support.) Exposed to the full life cycle of Software Development and Testing. Conducted System, Integration, Performance and Regression Testing during the various phases of application development. Designed and performed comprehensive testing strategies using black-box testing techniques for large Object Oriented applications(Rational Rose, Rational Rose XDE). Executed cross platform, cross browser and terminal server testing. Test on all Microsoft operating systems and on different international versions including: German, French, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Swedish, Russian, Croatian, Slovenian, Italian, Hebrew Technical writing: Test Cases, User manuals, White Papers.
