I lead global communications and change strategy for Aptiv’s CIO (Senior Vice President), supporting transformation across IT, Cybersecurity, Global Security, and Global Business Services. My remit spans 200,000 employees across 140 manufacturing facilities and 11 technical centres in 50 countries.
- Deliver strategic communications and change management for Aptiv’s enterprise-wide IT transformation, including the operating model and future-state design of the global IT function.
- Develop and govern the change management methodology framework for IT programmes, spanning software and hardware businesses, corporate functions, and critical enterprise applications.
- Support the separation of Aptiv's Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) business unit, ensuring stakeholder alignment, leadership messaging, and change readiness across impacted areas.
- Partner with regional business unit leaders to tailor change approaches, improving engagement and reducing resistance across diverse operational and cultural contexts.
- Translate complex technical and strategic developments into clear, actionable messaging for senior leadership and global audiences, including during high-pressure incidents and cybersecurity events.
Key Achievements:
- Designed the ways of working and led adoption of the future-state operating model as well as leading executive reporting for stranded costs to reduce the annual IT budget by 40%.
- Led the communications work-stream for the Aptiv/EDS separation, supporting leadership messaging and supporting managers across critical functions located at 50 global sites.
- Established a crisis communications framework to enable incident management and support critical business operations, including during the global CrowdStrike related IT outage incident.
