Podcast-a-palooza: Creating and Using Podcasts as a Teaching and Outreach Tool

As podcasts become increasingly popular modes of information sharing, it is not surprising that they would start to appear as curricular resources in our schools. How can librarians leverage this creative mode of storytelling, information access, and outreach in our schools? Join the hosts of the MSLA Podcast for a roundtable discussion with librarians who are using--and creating!--podcasts with students. In this session, we’ll talk about how podcasts can be a powerful resource for both student learning and library outreach at all grade levels and discuss some of the tools and techniques we’ve discovered for creating a successful podcast of your own.
