Dr. Reed Moskowitz began his education at Columbia University where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in 1967. Four years later, he earned his M.D. from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, one of the most selective medical schools in the United States. After completing an internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in 1972, Dr. Moskowitz immediately began his residency in psychiatry at the Columbia University Medical Center (renamed Columbia University Medical Center). Professionally, Dr. Reed Moskowitz has held a number of positions. After completing his residency, he took a position at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center (CPMC) as an Assistant Psychiatrist. Additionally, Dr. Moskowitz has held positions as an Assistant in Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University and a Psychiatric Consultant at CPMC's Center for Sexual & Reproductive Dysfunctions. He was also the Medical Director for New York University Medical Center (now NYU Langone Medical Center) for Stress Disorders Medical Services and recently served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU. A member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists as well as the Society for Liaison Psychiatry, Dr. Reed Moskowitz has often appeared as a guest on various national television programs including 60 Minutes, Hard Copy, and CBS This Morning. Dr. Reed Moskowitz currently lives and works in New York City.
