    • Completed Chemistry of Brewing course and General Certificate in Brewing qualification from the Institute of Brewing & Distilling. 
    • Worked with owner and brewers at Marshalls to create and refine quality control projects on a small brewing scale to include yeast quality and quantity, quantification of IBU with simple laboratory techniques, and  sensory panels.

    •       Created a study design, built search strings, data extraction methods and forms, and finished a pilot study and manuscript with other summer leaders for first year medical students doing a summer research internship to follow and execute.
    •       Trained students on how to extract studies, data, and coached students on writing skills and editing of a manuscript. Managed day to day operations as well as facilitated a good team environment.
