Roberto is a Consultant at Sand Cherry Associates, with 18 years of global program and project management hands on leadership experience including quality assurance, operations and technology alignment strategies spanning the fintech, energy, agriculture, distribution, and cruise lines verticals.

Roberto has been a key player of multiple organizations’ successful implementations of innovation, transformations and program management teams. Roberto has led numerous engagements to create and implement competitive teams in technology improvements, process maturity models and sales channels support teams. His most recent work has centered on building digital and cloud based banking solutions delivery teams that enable them to leave a footprint in the digital banking space.

Prior to Sand Cherry Associates, Roberto has been a solid hands on leader for Program Management teams at  CitiGroup, Norwegian Cruise Lines, NEXTEra Energy and American Express deploying program management strategies including team development, process maturity and technology alignment.

• Global PMO: Established project governance and lean process improvement initiatives in multiple organizations with keen focus on team development, training, and change management. Implemented capability maturity projects in startups and mature diverse organizations in the USA, Latin America, Asia and Eastern Europe.
• Business Process Optimization: Led the collections division and process optimization for IndigoAg – global service provider in the agricultural industry. Along this process also led the full implementation of Oracle ERP Financials.
• Digital Transformation: Hands on implementation leader for multiple transformations strategies in distribution, energy and fintech sectors. Developed and implemented organizational transformation roadmaps engaging multiple stakeholders and committing organizations to timelines and project frameworks.
• Platform Delivery: Ensured the timely delivery of a cloud-based banking solutions. Program leader for technology, architecture, business operations, and local bank end users delivering highly critical functionality. Full ERP implementation for finance and HR modules in global startup responsible for process management, data migration and functionality implementation.
• Reporting Transformation: Project managed the delivery of key financial forecasting systems for the cruise-line industry presenting to C-Level leaders newly enhanced ERP solutions for sales, forecasting and planning efforts.
• Technology Innovation: Project managed and led the development and implementation of AI based marketing acquisition tools at global clients, for a multinational corporation specializing in payment card services, utilizing their existing technology ecosystem and interjecting this new tool to capture additional clients. Program managed Fraud Prevention shadowing tools  at global financial institutions in the USA and SouthEast Asia.
