Responsible for power systems of the company's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, including circuit design, PCB layout, battery characterization and BMS systems. Developed comprehensive test plans for circuits and batteries. Provide R&D and failure analysis, as needed. Provide support to manufacturing for everything power related. Oversee effort for FCC, UN, and EMC testing. Provide electrical expertise to other departments. Helped design the aircraft that has become the first FAA approved drone airline.

I provided engineering expertise and support to the Office of the CTO. Assigned to the Data Science department to assist with power system statistical analysis. Supplied ongoing support to the hardware, software, and product management departments. My expertise and innovation has lead to one patent and three more in process. I am active in numerous industry organizations and working groups.

Product design and engineering of grid-connected sensors. Specifically, specialized power converters, AC/DC, DC/DC; mixed signal circuits; schematic capture, PCB design and layout, circuit simulation and modeling, magnetics design, testing and qualification of magnetic materials. I was the lead engineer of the power sub-section for their flagship product, from concept to mass production (100k units).  Designed product-specific automated testers for use by the local contract manufacturer.

Responsible for all new product development, regulatory approvals, sustaining engineering. Established policies, procedures, manuals and countless internal technical documents. New product design, including mechanical, electrical, and software. Developed several new features for the flagship product. Integrated new and innovative technologies into product line- these products have won 21 industry awards. Represented the company at technical conferences, and performed other managerial, administrative, and financial functions.

Was VP and Engineer. Primary product is multi-kilowatt power supplies, typically custom built, for high-energy physics accelerators, specialized battery charging, and other high-tech applications. I performed numerous administrative, and management functions as well as new product design, and engineering support for existing products. My specialty was the design of ultra-precise, high current power supplies, typically better than 0.01% and greater than 100 kilowatts. Provided technical documentation, such as specifications, manuals and test plans. Supervised prototyping, manufacturing and troubleshooting of equipment. Ensured that the delivered product met all customer specifications. Traveled worldwide for presentations, customer training, and technical conferences. Hired, trained, and mentored team of engineers and technical personnel.
