Currently work as the principal at John Clark Elementary School, a PBIS school within ROCORI Public Schools. Additional district duties include research/assessment, WBWF reporting, Title programs, Achievement and Integration, MTSS/RtI, and multilingual learning/equity.
Supported ROCORI Public Schools during a time of transition. Facilitated school board meetings and supervised principals and directors in five buildings. Managed a bond referendum proposal.
Worked as a principal intern at school of 700 students and a staff of 50. Fulfilled the duties of the assistant principal. Worked closely with principal to implement the vision and mission of the district at the school level.
Collaborated with teachers to implement inquiry and technology into their lessons. Provided job-embedded professional development in STEM to teachers.
Co-taught a 2nd grade extended day/extended school year classroom. Conducted home visits with parents and students.
Provided small group and individual support in reading and math to support emerging readers. Participated in district-wide Title 1 audit.
Provided instruction as a classroom teacher at an English learner school. Provided staff development in current teaching best practices and equity.
Created and instructed lessons developed to reach diverse learners in a multicultural classroom.
Trained in LETRS for Administrators. Coordinated registration, support for K and 1st grade teachers across the district. June 2022-Present.
Created and facilitated a community equity advisory committee made up of school board members, school staff, community members and students. January 2022-Present .

Participated in University of Minnesota - PRESS Leaders Cohort during 2019-20 school year. Support teachers district-wide in analyzing data, strengthening Tier 1 instruction, and implementing classwide interventions. August 2019-Present.
Coordinated and implemented state and local assessments in grade K through 12. Analyzed and presented findings to schools and ROCORI Board of Education. July 2017-Present.
Developed curriculum, recruited teachers, planned budget, and oversaw summer school and after school academic programming Winter 2021, Summer 2020, Summer 2018, Spring 2017, Fall 2016, Summer 2016, Spring 2015, Fall 2015, and Summer 2015.
Oversaw science and inquiry program during the summers of 2015 and 2016 as well as after-school in the fall of 2014 at Talahi Community School.
Led STEM vision and implementation at Talahi Community School. Highlights included Tree Planting Program, Talahi Student Technology Team, and robotics classes. 2014-2016.
