I love travelling and adventuring and have backpacked and motorcycled through Africa and much of Asia. In 2024, I drove to the far south of Algeria to visit one of the planet's most remote mountains near the Mali/Niger border. My other passion is surfing, and I have spent thousands of (often very cold) hours in the Atlantic. As a teenager, I was regarded as one of the UK’s best unicyclists and street performers, performing at many festivals, including Glastonbury. I also have a love for classic cars and have restored two 2CVs.
