I love traveling and adventuring and have backpacked and motorcycled through Africa and much of Asia. In 2024, I drove to the far south of Algeria to visit one of the planet's most remote mountains near the Mali/Niger border. My other passion is surfing, and I have spent thousands of (often very cold) hours in the Atlantic. When I was a teenager, I was regarded as one of the UK’s best unicyclists and street performers, and I performed at many festivals, including Glastonbury. I also love classic cars and have restored two 2CVs. If you don't find me working, abroad, or in the ocean, you'll probably find me with my classic camper (a work in progress).
