Areas of responsibility include eCommerce, digital experience, operations, omnichannel and fulfilment, marketing, digital transformation and marketplace.
- Profitable P&L management for multiple businesses driving year on year growth.
- Spearheaded the integration and subsequent turnaround of Papersource.com from negative EBITDA to profitability by optimizing expenses, renegotiating contracts, implementing a new promotional framework, improving product margins, enhancing the digital experience, and expanding the fulfillment network with strategic ship-from-store (SFS) initiatives.
- Successfully led the re-platforming of Papersource.com (from Magento to Shopify), collaborating closely with IT teams and system integrators to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion.
- Currently leading Barnesandnoble.com replatform (from ATG/Oracle to Shopify).
- Directed a full site redesign for BN.com, revitalizing customer engagement with modernized search functions, improved browsing experiences, checkout processes, and various micro-sites.
- Led the RFP process and successfully migrated email service platforms from Epsilon to Marigold to enhance campaign performance.
- Developed strategies to increase pre-order market share while improving fulfillment efficiency to achieve delivery on or near release dates.
- Drove innovation within the NOOK device product line and launched a successful Digital Audiobook business in 2022 that achieved profit in its first year with exponential YOY growth since inception.
- Implemented and grew omnichannel experiences including buy online pick up in store (BOPIS), reserve online pick up in store (ROPIS), and expansion of ship from store (SFS) network.
- Reduced freight costs significantly with the introduction of new shipping methods including rollout and expansion of UPSMI in SFS network and negotiated significant savings and rebates on fulfillment vendor contracts.
- Manage an 80+ member cross-functional team covering Product Management, UX/UI Design, Front-End Development, Digital Merchandising, Pricing Analytics, SEO/Email/Digital Marketing Operations as well as leadership across various business units
