Final Year Project:
Biodegradable properties of Cassava starch graft PAM flocculant for waste water treatment
This research was done to make biodegradable flocculant by method of grafting. This is an effort to replace non-biodegradable inorganic flocculant which has created additional problem to environment. Standard jar test using kaolin suspension as medium was used to test the capability of the grafted copolymer as flocculant. Biodegradability of the samples was observed using soil composting method and analyzed using FTIR, SEM, EDX and XRD.
