RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product Leadership
- Full Product Lifecycle Management: Own the entire journey of digital products designed for online professional learning for NSW teachers - from ideation, design, development, and launch to ongoing maintenance and enhancement.
- Strategic Vision: Spearhead product strategies to align with the department goals, and identifying opportunities to expand the reach and impact of the platform increasing the usage from 13K to 22K teachers.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Champion a deep understanding of teachers' needs, ensuring all product decisions and enhancements are grounded in providing the best possible user experience.
- Team Management and Development
- Leadership and Mentorship: Manage a diverse team of developers, data analysts, and business analysts, fostering their skills and expertise, and creating an environment that encourages innovation and collaboration.
- Performance Optimization: Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to guide team members in their professional growth.
- Collaboration and External Relations
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments such as marketing, teching & non-teaching staff and customer support to ensure seamless product launches, effective marketing campaigns, and top-notch customer service.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including educational institutions, technology providers, and content creators, to enhance the platform’s offerings and create new avenues for professional learning program delivery.
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Data Analysis: Leverage data insights to measure product performance, track user engagement, and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, iterating on product features based on data and user feedback to ensure ongoing relevance and effectiveness.

- Innovation Catalyst: Lead the charge in creating innovative solutions that transform the way teachers access and engage in professional learning, contributing to improved teaching practices and student outcomes in NSW.
