Chief Executive Officer

RJF Healthcare Services

Starting with the firm over 20 years ago as the Manager of Business Development, I rose to the position of CEO 10 years ago due to my strategic successes, strong business management skills and innovations in the healthcare staffing, training and recruitment field. Have acquired experience in all areas of business management and operations, consistently increased both Gross Revenue and Net Income each year and have a record of improving overhead efficiency.

Due to strategic corporate innovations in both talent acquisition and technology RJF Healthcare has grown over 400% in the last ten years and increased its profit margin by 300%.

RJF is the private sector leader in the healthcare staffing, training and recruitment industry in Atlantic Canada. Our strength has been forged on the development of strong relationships with all levels of government, community based organizations, private sector entities and one on one patient care advocacy and planning.

We have pioneered numerous healthcare initiatives which went from government pilot projects to tendered permanent programs offered by the Government of Nova Scotia. One of our early ongoing successes was the development of an external contingency staffing model for the capital Health District. This project began as the introduction of patient attendants into the care team model directly on unit floors. It's success allowed for the expansion of the program to all levels of unit care, from Registered Nurses to Unit Clerks. Initially the budget by Capital was $1 million dollars, today it sits at over $80 million and has proven to be an intricate model of improved on site patient care.

My direct strategic planning has allowed RJF to grow from a small family company to the largest private sector supplier of government funded continuing, acute, long term and community care programs in Nova Scotia .

Past and present, I regularly  sit on government advisory committees to develop new healthcare strategies, programs, contracts, servicing agreements, technology innovations and recruitment methods to improve healthcare delivery throughout the province.
