Stephen M. Black currently works at Georgia Regents University as a Regents' Professor, the highest honor conferred on Georgia professors.  He came to the university in 2007 as a Professor and was named the Regents' Professor in 2010. Stephen M. Black has four active research projects and a number of additional projects pending funding. Over 150 journal articles about his research have been published in peer-reviewed academic journals.




University of Edinburgh

Stephen M. Black enrolled at the University of Edinburgh in 1982 to complete his undergraduate studies. He graduated with honors in 1986 with his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology, and then stayed at the University of Edinburgh to pursue his medical degree. Stephen M. Black obtained his Ph. D. in Molecular Pharmacology in 1990.
