Geospatial Analyst

Tennessee Technological University

Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:  Created a map of known Pygmy Madtom(Noturus stanauli) locations in the State of Tennessee based on historical data. From that map brought in environmental data to try and create a model for locating new areas where the fish may occur. Used Digital Elevation Model data to estimate sinuosity of the rivers where the fish occurred. Created description of GIS techniques used to create maps for a PhD project studying this fish.

Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills: Assist faculty in proctoring exams. Create and grade online discussion questions. Organize study for students prior to exams. Drive university vehicles to transport students to field study locations.



City of Lebanon, Lebanon

Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills: Assisted the Storm Water Department with attaching files to features using python code. Created a file geodatabase of Traffic Signal Inventory data using georeferenced photos.



Kershaw County E911

Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills: Dispatched and took calls on both 911 and administrative telephone lines and dispatch received calls over the appropriate 800 radio trunk line. Checked drivers' licenses, license plates, and warrants of vehicles that were stopped.


Wildlife Biologist

South Carolina Department of Natural Resources

Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills: Determined nesting status and success of Red-cockaded Woodpeckers on Sand Hills State Forest. Installed artificial cavities as needed to maintain recovery standard. Captured and banded Red-cockaded Woodpecker nestlings for monitoring after fledging. Create Geodatabase of Red-cockaded Woodpeckers across the State of South Carolina.
