Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:  Created a map of known Pygmy Madtom(Noturus stanauli) locations in the State of Tennessee based on historical data. From that map brought in environmental data to try and create a model for locating new areas where the fish may occur. Used Digital Elevation Model data to estimate sinuosity of the rivers where the fish occurred. Created description of GIS techniques used to create maps for a PhD project studying this fish.

Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills: Determined nesting status and success of Red-cockaded Woodpeckers on Sand Hills State Forest. Installed artificial cavities as needed to maintain recovery standard. Captured and banded Red-cockaded Woodpecker nestlings for monitoring after fledging. Create Geodatabase of Red-cockaded Woodpeckers across the State of South Carolina.
