Responsible for setting up the Marketing function and overseeing all aspects of the function, including formulating a strategy for expanding the business based on a segment driven approach, guiding the company’s market research/monitoring, competitive analysis, marketing campaigns and customer relationship efforts.

  • Drive marketing execution for the brand including ATL, BTL, TTL, Online, PR, Employee Engagement and Internal Communications
  • Analyze the market developments, competitive moves to adjust the brand strategy and issue summary of the competitive analysis to management with recommendations
  • Drive Varthana’s client-facing partnerships and ongoing product development
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications for decision making
  • Monitor the media coverage for the brand and share with the management/organization
  • Develop consumer interaction initiatives to increase consumption and brand presence
  • Oversee entire scope of Branding & Marketing towards meeting/ exceeding yearly  budgets
  • Mentor, manage and supervise a team of twenty five employees

Achievements

  • Built the Digital Channel for Lead Sourcing which now contributes 50% of the logins and 45% of the disbursements for the School business
  • Brand growth through SEO and Content strategy resulting in 66x increase in monthly organic website traffic and 25x increase in website leads in 2 years
  • Strengthened the Beyond Loan offering through webinars, curated content for customers to drive differentiation for the brand and offer value to customers

  • Create and implement marketing and student admission plans generating 90% of the institutional revenue

  • Identify and create branding ideas, material, elements and collaterals
  • Responsible for all internet and social media including website content, propagation of information through social media channels
