Tom Patterson is an accomplished business executive in the areas of the Internet and Security. Tom is the founder of Command Information, the nation's leading next generation Internet (IPv6) firm, which is backed by The Carlyle Group, and provides services to the Fortune 500 and the Federal Government. Tom is also the author of the critically acclaimed book-- Mapping Security -- , published by Addison-Wesley, which is a source book for information security around the world. Previously, Tom was Deloitte's security partner in charge for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, a managing partner at KPMG, and IBM's chief eCommerce strategist. Tom currently holds a TS/SSBI clearance, and advises various aspects of the intelligence and law enforcement communities. Tom got his degree from University of Maryland, and is a periodic paid lecturer at The Wharton Business School.
