Valentyna Nagrath is a certified PMP who has led and delivered over 25 large-scale projects in telecom within last two years, and overall managed over 40 projects in technology, education and finance sectors. Expert in driving teams through the entire SDLC, from initial intake to delivery, with a focus on strategic planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Extensive experience leading development and deployment in new technologies. Their more recent work has centered on delivering large programs involving Apple and Amazon sales channels.

Prior to Sand Cherry Associates, Valentyna Nagrath was the Senior IT Program Manager at  Dish Network, where they were responsible for developing  and delivering to market large-scale IT projects within IT Retail Wireless department.

Professional Experience

  • eCommerce Project Management: Led multiple website redesigns and launch programs. Coordinated efforts of internal and external technology and business resources to frame user experience, define design, and prepare for site launches. Served as liaison to impacted functional areas and constituents. Managed communications and playbook. 
  • Apple and Amazon Program Management: Managed strategic Apple and Amazon programs in preparation for Apple NPI that involved coordinating business and IT teams in delivering several capabilities for a wireless provider such as iPhone Upgrades, Apple Watch Certification and other NPI related changes. 
  • R&D and StartUp Project Management: Initiated and maintained incremental delivery for a large scale long term Apple Watch certification project.  Facilitated collaboration between technical teams, vendors, and counterparts for project success; Maintained schedules, WBS reports, architecture flows, delivery diagrams for easy progress traction; Led agile ceremonies: SCRUMS, daily stand ups, demos, UAT testing and retrospecs ensuring continuous alignment and improvement for all impacted teams.
  • POS Platform Program Management: Led a team of remote software developers for a complex POS project, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate task tracking, acted as a liaison and an advocate for a client, relaying plans, designs, priorities, and budget expectations.
  • Digital Project Management: Managed development, delivery and post delivery support of a large scale and long-term crucial educational application to manage language tests, scores, test takers, and unique administrative abilities to be used for performance reviews and interviews by companies around the world. 
  • Process mapping and evaluation: Led initiative evaluating telecommunication provider's cost saving efforts. Mapped current process and evaluated a new approach on cutting costs on coverage provider. Identified impacts and efforts on implementing new approach and estimated cost savings. 
  • Reporting transformation: Project managed the delivery of a new analytics and reporting capability for a warehouse bank including a highly efficient fraud prevention capability. Developed and maintained project plan, drove prioritization of requirements, coordinated efforts and communication between impacted teams. Monitored risks, issues and blockers.
